After our great success of last years 2012 Funday held on The REC we are planning another one for 2013. This year we intend to go BIGGER and have it over two days during September, so watch this space for more updates as the team are busy putting together a day that will be one to remember...
2012 was a record year for the Cycle4Cynthia charity bike ride. A record £35,000 was raised and over 450 cyclists who took part and 2013 looks ready to smash last years total. With a new venue and further support from the Saints with hundreds more cyclists ready to ride, more funds will be raised through entry fees and sponsorship. NN4eight hope to put forward our own team of cyclists to raise much need funds for both The Friends of Cynthia Spencer & MacMillan Cancer Support.
A traditional feel fete on the South Lawn at Delapre Abbey with marquee, craft and community stalls and family entertainment. A wonderful evening event is planned too with live music, fantastic food and a special lighting show - more details soon! If you are a local community group and would like a free space at the fete then please get in touch with Nicola - delapreabbeyevents@hotmail.co.uk
We are busy planning our next NN4eight & Friends of Cynthia Spencer Hospice Fun Day on The REC for September...
